Stu
Jones is a board certified P.A. by the National Commission of
Physician Assistants, and a fellow of the American Academy of
Physician Assistants, Society of Emergency Medicine Physician
Assistants and Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery. His
area of special interest is in Sports Medicine. He is on the
medical staff of Centennial Medical Center and Williamson Medical
Center.
Stu was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He attended
college on a basketball scholarship at Southern Nazarene University
from 1987-1989 and finished his education at the University of
Oklahoma College of Medicine with a BS/MPH as a Physician Assistant
in 1993. After graduation, he moved to Franklin Tennessee where he
worked on the medical staff at Williamson Medical Center in the
Emergency Department until 2000. Stu has been in private practice
since specializing in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. Stu has
assisted in the care of many athletes in middle Tennessee at all
levels and continues to provide annual sports physicals for many
school systems.
Stu has served for the last 8 years on the board of Mercy Ministries
of America. He is very involved with the local community and is an
active member of Fellowship Bible Church.
Stu is married with 2 boys, Spence and Price. His wife Denise is a
member of Contempory Christian group Point of Grace and the two of
them enjoy family time as well as many sports including basketball
and golf. Other than continuing to grow the Seven Springs practice,
one of his long term goals is to travel the world with medical
missions to serve not only the body, but mind and Spirit as well.
