Dr. Wieck serves as Premier Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine's Chief Manager

Dr. Wieck graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1981, with a degree in Biology.  He then received his Medical Degree from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis in 1985, where he also served his general surgical internship.  His residency was served at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Wieck was Board Certified in 1992, and his areas of specialization include sports medicine, arthroscopy, trauma, foot and ankle.  He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and many other societies.  His medical staff affiliations include Premier Orthopaedic Surgery Center, Southern Hills Medical Center, Williamson Medical Center, St. Thomas Hospital, Physicians Pavilion, and Cool Springs Surgery Center.

Dr. Wieck's professional experience includes service in the United States Navy, where he served during Operation Desert Storm.  From 1994 to the present, he has been in private practice at Southern Hills Medical Center.

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Wieck is active in the Boy Scouts of America, coaches baseball for the Civitan Club and soccer for the Brentwood YMCA.   He is a member of the musical group, the Lonesome Docs.  Dr. Wieck is married and has three young sons.
